Learning Quick and Slick lettering

Sleeping in the weekend? This isn't an option when you take a workshop class starting in the early hours of the day. The Quick and Slick Lettering class hosted by Brett Piva, was a day filled with lots of learning, struggle and awe moments in hand lettering. Taught in the inspiring interior of The Hungry Workshop, the class took off practising the art of brush strokes in casual and script lettering.

Brett made hand lettering look so effortless and easy. His demonstrations and information about how-to's and sharing of his career experience gave the workshop that little extra.

Below are work-in-progress pictures I have took whilst at the workshop.

Stop Scrolling and Start Living

It's Friday and I started the day waking up - looking at my phone screen opening various feeds. Just casually scrolling away. I have decided to break this habit and wake up for more uplifting goals.

Although, we can't stop scrolling on our devices and tech gadgets. It's becoming more of a trend where people are now looking down rather than up to the people around them. It's disheartening because there could be that one individual putting their focus on their feeds rather than the people they're with.

I am all for sharing content but sometimes it's also good to stop scrolling and start living.
