Here's to 2016.

The New Year has begun! It's almost the end of January and here I am typing this away like it's a journal who has a mind of its own. That's the thing with any year and 2015 was a great year to rewind to see where we can improve on. Each year we aspire to be the person we thought we could've been in the previous year. What better way than to start now and be exactly that person you thought you could have been a year ago or the years before.

I'm not the type of person to admit their resolutions publicly amongst my peers or amongst my network of connections as there could be that defining where the going gets tough. A few weeks earlier in the year, that's when I started to get tangible goodies to stop myself from them relinquishing moments that resort from giving up. As someone who has been loyal to a few a brands, one brand stands out to me being the most appropriate for this month of; beginnings, fresh starts and the power to become.

Mi Goals annual addition of their diaries is the perfect way to start by going through areas of where you can see yourself this year and answering that big question of where do you see yourself in 5 years time? Something I did enjoy doing was creating and visualising the vision board for the year ahead. I grabbed and printed of images from Tumblr and Instagram from people who inspire and have made the impossible, possible. No matter how little mundane things perceived to be achievable or not, it's a refreshing way to create a compact way of seeing the little goals or potential achievements through imagery to represent elements of attainable dreams.

There is something about the little goodies highlighting the small things in life. So I've been using the following goodies like the Daniel Wellington watch (which I wear religiously now) and the very suave wallet by Ralph Lauren when heading outside. Whilst living in a digital its always good to keep in track with a weekly small planner reminding what lies in the future and a notepad on the desk to quickly write down those significant small piece of information. Who's ready for 2016? Wishing you all the best for the new year and go smash them dreams to become what you've always wanted them to be. A reality.
